Cinch Home Warranty Coverage for Homeowners Has this ever happened to you? You wake up one morning and your shower is ice cold.Or your HVAC quits on the first really hot (or freezing) day of the year.Or your dishwasher suddenly stops mid‑cycle… full of water. You call a repair company, and before anyone even comes out, you’re quoted $300–$500 just to diagnose the problem. Then comes the real question: 👉 Repair it… or replace it?👉 How much is this going to cost?👉 Do I put it on a credit card and hope for the best? For many homeowners, one unexpected breakdown can turn into hundreds or even thousands of dollars — and it always seems to happen at the worst possible time. That’s exactly where a Cinch Home Warranty can step in. Many homeowners ask whether Cinch home warranty coverage is worth it when appliances or systems break down unexpectedly. What Is Cinch Home Warranty? A Cinch Home Warranty is a home protection plan that helps cover the cost of repairing or replacing major home systems and appliances when they break down from everyday wear and tear, not sudden damage or weather events. This type of coverage is ideal for: Busy families Homeowners with older systems Rural homeowners Landlords Buyers and sellers at closing Cinch also stands out with unique benefits like coverage for unknown pre‑existing conditions, rust and corrosion, and a strong 180‑day workmanship guarantee. What Cinch Home Warranty Covers Cinch offers protection for both major home systems and everyday appliances. Below is a clear, simple breakdown based on official plan documents. Covered Home Systems Cinch protects key built‑in systems such as: Heating & cooling (HVAC) Electrical wiring, switches, outlets, ceiling fans, garage door openers Interior plumbing & gas lines, toilets, faucets, stoppages (up to 100 ft.) Water heaters (up to $1,000 coverage) Sump pumps Jetted bathtubs And More! Covered Major Appliances Appliance coverage includes: Refrigerators Dishwashers Clothes washers & dryers Cooktops, ovens, ranges, range hoods Built‑in microwaves Trash compactors Freestanding ice makers And More! Optional Add‑Ons (If You Need More Coverage) You can customize your plan with additional protection for: Exterior water line Exterior sewer line Exterior gas line Well pump Septic with sewage ejector Pool or spa equipment Water softener These upgrades can be added based on your home’s needs. Coverage Limits You Should Know Cinch provides generous, homeowner‑friendly coverage limits: Up to $5,000 per claim for built‑in systems Up to $3,000 per claim for appliance repairs or replacements $10,000 total annual limit for all combined claims These limits protect your budget from large, unexpected expenses and are a major reason homeowners choose Cinch. How Cinch Works Cinch follows a simple, predictable process: Request Service When a covered item breaks, you can request service online or by phone and pay your preset deductible. Pay Your Deductible Cinch offers multiple deductible options (commonly $100–$250).You choose the option that fits your budget and comfort level. Repair or Replace A vetted, pre‑screened technician is assigned to your home. If the item can’t be repaired, Cinch may replace it.All covered work is backed by a 180‑day workmanship guarantee—much stronger than the typical 30–90‑day industry standard. Key Benefits That Set Cinch Apart Cinch includes several advantages that many home warranty companies do not: Unknown pre‑existing condition coverage Rust and corrosion protection 180‑day workmanship guarantee Up to $1,000 homeowners’ insurance deductible reimbursement $25 A/C filter credit Discounts on new appliances These benefits make Cinch one of the most affordable home warranty options with excellent value. Who Cinch Home Warranty Is Best For Cinch can be a great fit for: Busy families who want quick solutions Older homes with aging appliances or systems Rural homeowners where repairs can be harder to schedule Landlords who need predictable repair costs Buyers and sellers coordinating home closings Real Life Example (Straight from My Clients) A local homeowner suddenly lost hot water after their water heater failed. Instead of paying nearly $1,000 out of pocket, they: Submitted a claim Paid their deductible Had a licensed technician dispatched Received a covered repair Enjoyed a 180‑day workmanship guarantee Even though their water heater was older, Cinch still covered the repair because age does not disqualify covered items if they were working at the start of the contract. Is Cinch Home Warranty Worth It for Your Home? If you want fewer surprises, predictable repair costs, and dependable technician access, a Cinch Home Warranty is absolutely worth considering. Homeowners often search phrases like:“Is Cinch Home Warranty worth it?”And for many families — yes, it truly is. Ready to Get a Cinch Home Warranty Quote? Modular vs Manufactured Home Insurance — What You Need to Know
Modular vs Manufactured Home Insurance: What Homeowners Need to Know Modular vs Manufactured Home Insurance: Why It Matters Manufactured home insurance differs from modular home insurance for one key reason: the HUD plate. This small detail determines the policy type you qualify for and how your coverage will respond during a claim. When your home isn’t a traditional stick-built structure, things can get confusing quickly. Modular homes and manufactured (mobile) homes may look similar, but they are not insured the same way — and the HUD plate is the deciding factor. Why the HUD Plate Matters Two homes can look identical, but insurance companies classify them by how they were built — and whether they carry a HUD certification plate. The difference in manufactured home insurance and modular coverage mostly comes from how the home was originally built and classified. A HUD plate means the home was built to federal HUD code → Manufactured Home policy required. If the home has no HUD plate and was built to state/IRC modular code → it may qualify for a standard HO‑3 modular homeowners policy. Same style of home. Different code. Different policy type. HO‑3 Homeowners Policy vs. MH Manufactured Home Policy Both types cover the home, contents, and liability. But the differences impact flexibility, pricing, eligibility, and how well the policy can be customized. HO‑3 (Standard Homeowners Policy) Best for: True modular homes built to state/IRC code with no HUD plate. Typically offers: More carrier options Broader endorsements Fewer restrictions on porches, decks, sheds, and carports Better umbrella policy compatibility More bundling opportunities and discounts Roof settlement that may be RC or ACV depending on age/endorsements Manufactured Home (MH) Policy Required for: Any home with a HUD plate. Still solid coverage — but with more rules and limitations: Fewer carrier choices Tie‑downs, anchoring, and skirting may impact underwriting Porches/decks/awnings may require approval or scheduling Roof coverage may shift to ACV by age/material Endorsement menu is often more limited Some items (like skirting) may have sublimits Additional deductibles or age‑based requirements on older units ⭐ Why Classification Matters f a HUD‑coded home is incorrectly insured on an HO‑3: Claim delays are common The carrier may force a rewrite Coverage gaps or disputes can occur Correct classification protects you long before a storm ever hits. Real‑Life Scenario: Windstorm Damage A strong windstorm blows through overnight. By morning, you walk outside and notice: shingles missing from the roof a damaged front porch railing skirting blown loose your storage shed behind the house partially damaged Same storm. Same damage. But your policy type changes how the claim is handled. When comparing modular policies and manufactured home insurance, claim rules for porches, sheds, and skirting can change significantly. If Your Home is a Modular Home (HO‑3 Policy) HO‑3 policies typically treat these items more broadly: Coverage A – Dwelling handles the roof and attached porch Coverage B – Other Structures automatically covers the shed Endorsements like service line, water backup, or extended replacement cost are usually available Result: Most items are already included without extra scheduling or restrictions. Claims are typically smoother and more predictable. If Your Home is a Manufactured Home (MH Policy) Coverage still exists — but with more rules: Coverage A may require verification of tie‑downs, anchoring, and whether the porch meets attachment or scheduling requirements Coverage B may not automatically include the shed — many MH policies require endorsing or scheduling other structures Roof coverage may be ACV on older roofs Endorsement options are more limited Result: You’re covered, but the claim may involve additional conditions, inspections, or limitations — especially for porches and detached structures. ⭐ Why This Matters The biggest difference is simple: HO‑3 usually includes more by default, while MH often requires specific endorsements to avoid gaps. Two neighbors can have the same windstorm damage — yet completely different claim outcomes — all because of one detail: 👉 Whether the home has a HUD plate. How to Check for a HUD Plate Most homeowners don’t know — and that’s okay. Here’s where to look: Exterior end of the home (red metal HUD tag) Inside on the data plate County auditor or real estate listings Loan or closing documents Quick rule of thumb: 👉 HUD plate present → Manufactured Home policy 👉 No HUD plate → May qualify for HO‑3 modular Unsure Whether Your Home Is Modular or Manufactured? If you need help understanding your manufactured home insurance options, I’m here to guide you. Serving homeowners across Hocking Hills, Vinton County, and all of Ohio. If you’d like help confirming whether your home has a HUD plate or qualifies for HO‑3 modular coverage, reach out anytime. — Easy Insurance Solutions

Flood Insurance Awareness: What the Texas Floods Teach Us About Being Prepared
Flood Insurance Awareness: What the Texas Floods Teach Us About Being Prepared This message is shared with deep compassion and respect for those affected by the recent flooding in Texas. My heart is with every individual, family, and community impacted by this tragedy. My goal in sharing this is not to promote, but to help others prepare—so that if disaster ever strikes close to home, they have the protection and support they need. Over the past week, I’ve watched in heartbreak and disbelief as floodwaters swept through Texas, devastating communities over the Fourth of July holiday. What was meant to be a time of celebration turned into a nightmare for thousands of families. Homes were swallowed in minutes. Vehicles floated away like toys. People and animals were stranded, rescued by neighbors and strangers who became heroes overnight. To everyone affected: my heart is with you. I’ve cried watching the footage. I’ve prayed for the families who lost everything—and especially for those who lost loved ones. The heartbreak of lives lost is beyond words. These moments remind us just how fragile life is, how quickly everything can change, and how deeply we depend on one another in times of crisis. In the midst of this sorrow, I also feel a responsibility—to speak up, to educate, and to help others prepare before it’s too late. That’s why I’m sharing this message—not to sell, but to raise flood insurance awareness and help others protect what matters most. Flooding Can Happen to Anyone—Not Just Those in Flood Zones One of the most dangerous myths I hear is: “I’m not in a flood zone, so I don’t need flood insurance.” But here’s the truth: More than 20% of flood insurance claims come from homes outside high-risk flood zones. Flooding can be caused by heavy rain, overflowing creeks, blocked storm drains, or rapid snowmelt. It doesn’t take a hurricane. It doesn’t take a river. It just takes water—and it can happen anywhere, at any time. What Is a Flood? And Why Isn’t It Covered by Homeowners Insurance? According to FEMA, a flood is: “A general and temporary condition of partial or complete inundation of two or more acres of normally dry land area or of two or more properties from overflow of inland or tidal waters, unusual and rapid accumulation or runoff of surface waters, or mudflow.” And here’s what most people don’t realize: Standard homeowners insurance does not cover flood damage. That means if your home is damaged or destroyed by rising water, your policy won’t help you rebuild. Your furniture, appliances, flooring, and personal belongings? Not covered. Your peace of mind? Gone—unless you have flood insurance. Flood Insurance Fills the Gap—and It’s Often More Affordable Than You Think Flood insurance is a separate policy designed to protect your home and belongings from water damage caused by flooding. While costs vary based on your location, property type, and risk factors, many homeowners outside high-risk zones are surprised to find how affordable coverage can be. The peace of mind it provides—knowing you have a path to recovery—is worth far more than the premium. Flood Insurance Isn’t Just for Homeowners—Renters Can Be Protected Too If you rent your home, you may think flood insurance doesn’t apply to you—but it does. While your landlord’s policy may cover the building itself, it won’t cover your personal belongings like furniture, electronics, clothing, or keepsakes. Renters can purchase a flood insurance policy specifically designed to protect their contents. It’s an affordable way to make sure your life isn’t washed away in a matter of minutes. Who Can Get Flood Insurance? Are There Any Disqualifiers? Flood insurance is available to anyone living in a participating community through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), whether you own or rent. Most communities in the U.S. participate, including many in lower-risk areas. ✅ You can get flood insurance if you are: A homeowner A renter A business owner Living in or outside a high-risk flood zone 🚫 You may not be eligible if: Your community does not participate in the NFIP (rare, but possible) You’re seeking coverage for a property that has been repeatedly flooded and is considered high-risk without mitigation You’re trying to purchase coverage during a storm event (there’s typically a 30-day waiting period before coverage begins, unless it’s required for a loan closing) Let Me Help You Prepare Before the Next Storm Hits If you’re unsure whether you need flood insurance, or if you’ve never looked into it because you assumed you were safe, now is the time. Don’t wait until the water is rising to ask the hard questions. I’m here to help you understand your risks, review your current coverage, and fill in the gaps—so that if the unthinkable happens, you’re not left picking up the pieces alone. 📞 Call me at 740-596-4144 📱 Text me at 614-557-9007 📧 Email me at kmaynard@easyinssolutions.com Whether you have questions, need a quote, or just want to talk through your options, I’m here for you. When the Power Comes Back On… and the AC Doesn’t: What Homeowners Need to Know
⚠️ When the Power Comes Back On… and the AC Doesn’t: What Homeowners Need to Know Real story. Real struggle. Real lesson. One of my clients recently found herself in a situation that many homeowners could face—especially during storm season. Her air conditioner stopped working after a power outage during a storm. When the electricity came back on, the unit didn’t. No cool air. No fan. No condenser. Just silence—and heat. She did what many would do: ✅ Filed a claim with her home warranty company ✅ Filed a claim with her homeowners insurance ✅ Hoped one of them would help But here’s what happened instead: 🧾 The Warranty: Partial Coverage, Big Out-of-Pocket Costs Her home warranty company diagnosed the issue but said she’d need to pay $800 out of pocket for refrigerant recharge—something not fully covered under her plan. She couldn’t afford that, so she accepted a $1,000 buyout instead. Unfortunately, the cost to repair or replace the damaged components was much higher. The parts alone were over $1,000—not including labor. 🏠 The Homeowners Insurance Claim: Denied She then filed a homeowners claim, thinking the damage might’ve been caused by lightning. But after an inspection and a lightning strike report, the insurer determined: No lightning strikes occurred near the property during the reported time. The damage was due to wear and tear and resistive heating—not a covered peril. The unit was 15 years old and showed signs of long-term overheating and corrosion. ⚡ What Likely Happened: Inrush Current As her agent, I explained a possible cause: When the power went out, her AC unit was still in “on” mode. When electricity was restored, the system experienced a sudden surge of electrical current—known as inrush current. Inrush current is the initial surge of electricity that flows into a device when it’s first powered on. If the system is older or already weakened, this surge can cause internal damage—especially to motors, capacitors, and compressors. But here’s the catch: Most homeowners policies do not cover power surges unless they’re caused by a covered peril like lightning. And home warranties often exclude refrigerant, older systems, or electrical damage not tied to a mechanical failure. 🔍 What You Can Learn from This If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if your AC failed after a storm, here’s what you should know: ✅ Homeowners insurance doesn’t cover everything. Power surges, wear and tear, and electrical imbalances are often excluded. ✅ Home warranties have limits. They may not cover refrigerant, older systems, or full replacement costs. ✅ Whole-home surge protection is worth considering. It can help prevent damage from power restoration surges. ✅ Talk to your agent before filing a claim. I’ll help you understand your options and avoid unnecessary denials. 💬 Final Thoughts This story isn’t about blame—it’s about being prepared. It’s about knowing what your policy covers, what it doesn’t, and what steps you can take to protect your home and your wallet. If you’ve ever been in a similar situation—or want to make sure you’re better prepared—let’s talk. I’m here to help you understand your coverage, your risks, and your options. Because insurance isn’t just about policies—it’s about people. And I care deeply about mine. — Written by Katherine Allen-Maynard Independent Insurance Agent Thanks for reading! Common Accidents
Common Accidents 🚗 Driving is an essential part of our daily lives, but it comes with its own set of risks. Understanding the common types of car accidents can help us stay aware and take preventive measures. In this segment, we’ll explore some of the most frequent accidents on the road and how you can protect yourself and your loved ones. Let’s dive into the stories behind these incidents and learn how to stay safe. Imagine you’re driving home after a long day at work. The traffic is heavy, and you’re eager to get home. Suddenly, the car in front of you stops abruptly, and before you know it, you’ve rear-ended them. This is a classic example of a Rear-End Collision. These accidents often happen in stop-and-go traffic, at red lights, or when the lead car suddenly brakes. They can lead to whiplash injuries and other complications. Collision coverage can help pay for the repairs to your vehicle in such situations. Now, picture yourself at an intersection. You’re waiting for the light to turn green when, out of nowhere, another car runs the red light and crashes into your side. This is known as a T-Bone Collision. These crashes are particularly dangerous because the sides of cars generally offer less protection than the front or rear. Comprehensive coverage can help cover damages from such incidents, especially if the other driver is uninsured. On a rainy night, you’re driving cautiously, but the roads are slick. Suddenly, you lose control of your vehicle and skid off the road, hitting a tree. This is a Single-Vehicle Accident. Factors like bad weather, speeding, or distracted driving often contribute to these types of accidents. Comprehensive coverage can also help in these scenarios, covering damages from non-collision incidents like weather-related accidents. Finally, imagine it’s a crisp winter morning. You’re driving to work, enjoying the quiet of the early hours. As you approach a curve, you notice a car in the distance. Suddenly, the car swerves into your lane, heading straight towards you. Your heart races as you try to avoid the collision, but there’s no time. The impact is devastating. This is a Head-On Collision, one of the most severe types of crashes, often resulting in serious or fatal injuries. Uninsured motorist coverage can protect you if the at-fault driver doesn’t have insurance, covering medical expenses and damages. While each type of accident has its own causes and risks, they all highlight the importance of staying alert, driving defensively, and keeping a safe distance from other vehicles Protect yourself and your loved ones from these common accidents with comprehensive coverage from Easy Insurance Solutions. 🛡️ Contact us today to learn more about how we can help you stay safe on the road. 📞 Call us now at 740-596-4144 or visit EasyInsSolutions.com to get started! #EasyInsuranceSolutions #InsuranceThatFits #AutoInsurance #FloodInsurance #BusinessInsurance #RecreationalInsurance #UmbrellaInsurance #PropertyInsurance #ProtectWhatMatters #InsuranceSimplified

A classic or antique car is generally defined as a vehicle that is not used as a daily driver, is driven seasonally or only for shows/parades, or is from the year 1999 or older. These vehicles are often cherished by their owners and considered valuable due to their historical significance, rarity, or unique features. Difference Between Specialty Collector Insurance and Standard Auto Insurance Specialty collector insurance, like Hagerty, is tailored specifically for collector and enthusiast vehicles. Here are some key differences: Agreed Value vs. Actual Cash Value (ACV): Specialty collector insurance policies often use an agreed value, meaning you and the insurer agree on the vehicle’s value upfront. In the event of a total loss, you receive the agreed amount. Standard auto insurance typically pays out the ACV, which is based on depreciation and can be significantly lower. Usage Restrictions: Collector car insurance usually allows for limited usage, such as driving to shows or for pleasure, which reflects the lower risk and results in lower premiums. Standard auto insurance covers daily driving and commuting. Coverage for Modifications: Specialty policies often cover modifications and restorations, ensuring the vehicle is insured for its true worth. Standard policies may not account for these enhancements. Expert Claims Handling: Specialty insurers have claims teams trained in collector vehicle repair, ensuring your car gets the right parts and service. Standard insurers may not have this expertise. Key Features of Hagerty Insurance Choosing Hagerty for your collector car insurance offers several unique benefits: Guaranteed Value®: You determine a vehicle value up front. In the event of a covered total loss, you are paid that value, less any deductible. Guaranteed.* Insured Up to Value: Hagerty’s policies ensure your vehicle is protected for its true worth, including any restorations or modifications. Part of the Collector Club: Hagerty offers optional membership to the Hagerty Drivers Club®, connecting you with other car lovers through exclusive events, articles, and videos. Restoration Coverage: Hagerty provides specialized coverage to protect vehicles during all stages of construction – whether you are restoring, building, or modifying your vehicle. Wide-Ranging Protection: Coverage is available on collector vehicles ranging in value from as low as $3,500 to high-value single vehicles and multi-million-dollar collections. Available Add-Ons: Cherished Salvage® and Traveling Collector coverage provide additional peace of mind. An optional Hagerty Drivers Club® membership helps clients connect with other car lovers both online and at in-person events across the country. Interesting Fact Did you know that the Volkswagen Beetle holds the record for the longest-running, most-manufactured car of a single platform ever made? Over 21 million units were produced from its inception until production ended in 2003. Why Choose Easy Insurance Solutions to Write Your Hagerty Auto Policy? 5 Driving Safety Tips
Here are five driving safety tips to help keep you safe on the road, no matter what the conditions: ✅Always Wear Your Seatbelt It’s the simplest and most effective way to protect yourself in an accident. Make sure everyone in your vehicle is buckled up, even on short trips. Seatbelts can dramatically reduce the risk of injury or death in a crash. ✅Stay Focused and Avoid Distractions Distracted driving—like texting, using your phone, or even fiddling with your GPS—can be just as dangerous as drunk driving. Stay focused on the road, and if you need to do something like change a song or send a text, pull over safely first. ✅Keep a Safe Following Distance Always leave enough space between you and the car in front of you, especially in poor weather conditions or heavy traffic. A good rule of thumb is to stay at least 3-4 seconds behind the vehicle in front of you, and increase that distance in bad weather. ✅Check Your Blind Spots Regularly Never rely solely on your mirrors—always physically check your blind spots when changing lanes or merging. Other drivers may be in a spot that’s hard to see, so doing a quick shoulder check can prevent accidents. ✅Adjust Your Speed to Conditions Speed limits are set for ideal driving conditions, but in rain, fog, snow, or ice, you need to slow down. If visibility is low or the road is slippery, reduce your speed, even if the conditions don’t explicitly call for it. It’s better to be cautious than to risk losing control of your vehicle. Safe driving is all about staying aware, prepared, and in control. These simple tips can help reduce your chances of an accident and keep you and others safe on the road. #EasyInsuranceSolutions #InsuranceThatFits #AutoInsurance #FloodInsurance #BusinessInsurance #RecreationalInsurance #UmbrellaInsurance #PropertyInsurance #ProtectWhatMatters #InsuranceSimplified
